Cat Spirit 7! [Action]

[As expected, joining the mallynap canonupdate bathtub brigade is (1) Taokaka. One depressed Taokaka. If you've ever wanted to see a depressed Kaka, now's your chance as the journal catches a small glimpse of a wet, dripping Tao face down in someone's filled bathtub. Ragna's, to be specific. Which looks kinda like she's dead. No bubbles at the surface...oh boy. It's a while of silence before she finally moves around, sloshing water over the sides and just...dictating 'meow's over the journal.]

Ragna also notices her, or hears her, wanting to ask something, so Ragna just groans under his breath before turning his head back to her slightly. While still trying to dry the floor with the towel.]

[She looks back a bit, making sure Tao won't be able to hear them from here before stepping a little closer, avoiding the water all the while. As expected, Noel looks worried.]

What happened back there?

I kicked her out. What else did it look like to you?

[He's being a little nasty about it, not to mention avoiding the question in total. He doesn't want to talk about it all, and he wants to fume about the situation while in the tub. Being a jerk. B|]

[Damn it, Ragna, you know what she means! ... Or do you? Did Ragna seriously not notice...that?]

Something felt... wrong. Didn't you notice?

[He noticed it. That's why he doesn't want to talk about, not in front of Noel. He knows that she still wants Litchi to be good and all that jazz.]

Just stay away from her.

[But she thinks she should at least talk to her, Ragna. >:C]

[Still making believe that they're talking about something else.]

[...maybe he doesn't know. But Noel could almost feel like there was something wrong with Litchi, something beyond her betraying them.]

[If Ragna knew what was wrong with Litchi -- if it was something dangerous -- he'd tell her, wouldn't he? And if there's a good chance he actually doesn't know what that was, or didn't even notice...

"Something was wrong with her magic when she returned," Goroh said. Litchi was at the Gates with Terumi, and now... it seemed like she was almost sick. There was something more to this than met the eyes, definitely. And if Noel really was the only person noticing this, then maybe she should pay a visit to Litchi in a few days. If she got to the bottom of this, if she could just talk this out with Litchi and worked things out... maybe things could be okay with them again. If Litchi needed help, then maybe Noel could help her somehow.

Sorry, Ragna. Noel has made up her mind.]

...I'll leave you alone. [And she turns to leave. LAST CHANCE TO SAY SOMETHING, RAGNA.]

[He stops for a moment after she says that.] I wasn't kidding about staying away from her, Noel.

[Stopping, too. And she looks back.]

Ragna... did you notice if there was something off about her?

Don't waste your time worrying about someone like her.

[He's avoiding looking at her right now -- focusing on what's left of the water and blood -- but what he says is what he believes. He'll leave it at that.]

[But she... can't. She should, but now that she has an idea that Litchi's actually in trouble...]

But... what she did back in our world. It's... It wasn't like her. [Noel's trying to make a point here but failing. ~~this is not a dustloop speculation debate~~]

No response. She doesn't know how to argue that, but her resolve to talk with her is still strong. If anything, she just wants to know why.]

[She... Noel doesn't think she can get through to Ragna about this. In fact, she's kind of nervous to bring up that she wants to try and talk her out of it. Would he even understand?

Stepping back a bit, she stares at the man's hunched over form for a few moments before speaking again, her tone sounding rather... hopeless:] I'm... going to go check up on Tao now.

[Ragna gives an acknowledging noise. Begone, Noel!]
