Notes for reference

-Tao is very catlike. Obviously. ("However Taokaka didn't seemed to be concerned, and scratched her head with her hind leg, before starting to play with the insects that had gathered by the fire." -BBMC short story) If you stroke her head, she purrs. In fact, the entire village has feline instincts, given that the Kaka Elder's home has balls of yarn (to play with, I presume) and fish printed on pillows. They are also very fond of catnip, and clean themselves by licking themselves. Licking herself is also how Tao treats her injuries ("Nya-nya? This is nothing. I'll just lick it." -Taokaka, CT Carl Story Mode)

-Kakas aren't supposed to leave the Lost Town, according to the NOL. ("You guys aren't supposed to leave Lost Town. You're gonna be in some deep shit if the Library finds out." -Kokonoe, CT Taokaka Story Mode)

-The Kaka people are biologically engineered weapons/clones descended from Jubei's DNA, originally made to combat the Black Beast during the Dark War. Due to their nature, they are able to withstand high amounts of seithr and live on the ground. ("She's from the Kaka clan. Their...uh...species can survive very high concentrations of seithr." -Litchi, TMML)

-Also due to their nature, they have high inborn aptitude for seithr use.

Well, let's say there are one hundred units of seithr in the air here.
You perform a certain Ars, and it consumes ten units of that seithr.
However, if I perform the same Ars, I consume twenty units of seithr.

That would mean that you oculd use more Ars than me, since yours
wouldn't consume as much seithr. You see? Using seithr more effectively
is called the "Proper Use of Ars Magus".
-Litchi, TMML

-Kakas are able to asexually reproduce, and their numbers cannot fall below 100.

Based on the results, there is no denying the fact that it's a device
tempered to maintain a population of one hundred.
The population of the village has never surpassed one hundred people,
as shown by the statistics...
...and if for some reason it suddenly dropped, asexual reproduction
would automatically compensate for the numbers that were lost.
So, unless there is a phenomenon that will instantly wipe out the
entire population, there is no fear of extinction.
-Litchi, CT Litchi Story Mode

-The Kaka village is matriarchal. ("I wanted to depict how the Kaka clan "hunts" in this image. The females must go and hunt while the males stay stay at home and prepare the feast." -CT special illustration artist notes)

-Kaka culture in general is interesting. They have no idea of money or currency, shown by their short story. The village structures are made of bricks and stone, which would imply that they did have some sense of structure and architecture, and that these buildings are decades old. ("Long ago the Kaka clan's ancestors, under the leadership of someone known as the "cat person", found this comfortable and cozy area, migrated here, and constructed the village." -BBMC short story) In the center of the village is a giant pot held up by a crane, of all things. Supposedly, they have a time when they're all called to dinner/feast, and based on the stage itself, some of the Kaka clean the giant pot after everyone has eaten. The fire under it is constantly lit, so it was an ideal place to catch a nap. Plus, they can even hold festivals with booths and whatnot. ("When Taokaka and the children got back to the village, it was full of activity and excitement. Festival booths had been set up in the town square, and there was food everywhere." -CT Taokaka Story Mode) They definitely know how to party, that's for sure.

-Interesting to note is that there's a large mechanical cat head in the back of the village, implying that they do have some idea of technology...or if that's a relic from the past and they have no idea what it's doing there. Tao doesn't know what a cannon is, though, so.../shrug. They believe in the sun as "Mister Sun" (BBMC short story) and God ("It's a good day! Food falling from the sky. Nice going, God, meow!" -CT Taokaka Story Mode) but there's a cat-god statue in the center of the town plaza. (BBMC short story)

-Tao is a heavy sleeper. ("...Of course, if being shaken was enough to wake Taokaka up, Noel would never have been able to drag her this far. There was only one thing that could wake Taokaka up... ...Food." -CT Taokaka Story Mode)

-Tao is actually a bit of an outcast. ("Always disrupting the group mentality and all but ostracized from the village." -BBMC short story) However, they all treat her very well, and she loves them all in return, so the ostricization is more due to her own laziness and strangeness (like being late to cat conferences B|) than any actual malice on the village's part. They just think she's strange, even for a Kaka.
