Cat Spirit 23! [Action]

[With ~spooky~ changes comes ~spooky~ behavior. Well, not really. This sort of hunting is par for the course with Tao.

All throughout today, there will be a catgirl here or there. There will be a catgirl anywhere, all over the village, trying to put her boundless energy to use. It's the thrill of the hunt! And her prey? ...Rats! And bats. And the occasional spider.

Because what better person/animal to take care of the rat problem than her? She's got to put those beastkin instincts to use sometime. Tao can be found zipping all over the village, taking off at full speed, running or on all fours, and chasing down rats in particular. Though if bats fly by your head, she'll go for them too. Spiders are fair game as well.

Point is, she's up and about trying to catch/hunt down these critters, and if you're in the way, better get out of it.]

[The fact that she hasn't really noticed him, has not really gone unnoticed by Brook. Now he's coming down with a case of a major nosebleed, so he'll probably turn away soon to get a handkerchief.]

Oh? Umm... Kaka village you say? Are you named after the village then? Or perhaps Kaka is a surname? Two years is really a very long time though. I've only been here... a month? So... do you always wear that hood?

[He is momentarily brought out of his ogling, to remember that she has kind of a dark sinister face. Or perhaps a lack thereof? Course that's only momentary, because, panties... She certainly doesn't seem all that sinister either. And also, panties...]

[Tao, that's not something to be proud of. But the Kaka surname is rather likely, given Torakaka, Fluffy-kaka, Cali-kaka, and Sleepy-kaka.]

Yeah! All the Kakas have a hood, even the little ones!

Oh I see! So then... do any Kakas ever take off their hoods for any reason? Come to think of it, how old are you anyways? I heard you mentioning your village has an elder and such, but you still seem pretty young yourself.

[He's finally forced himself to look away... Although it pains him to do so.]

Ah but this is a different kind of birthday! You see since we don't know how old you are, you need a second birthday, for the day we re-decided your age. How old would you like to be? I figure you have to be somewhere between 3 and infinity. Given that you were saying that you were here for at least 2 years.

I think... 19 seems like a good age for you... Maybe 17?

Indeed! It saves you a lot of trouble when people ask how old you are. I've had to do it twice in my lifetime, but now I finally remember my real age. Now that I do, it was a simple matter of going back to that.
