[With ~spooky~ changes comes ~spooky~ behavior. Well, not really. This sort of hunting is par for the course with Tao.

All throughout today, there will be a catgirl here or there. There will be a catgirl anywhere, all over the village, trying to put her boundless energy to use. It's the thrill of the hunt! And her prey? ...Rats! And bats. And the occasional spider.

Because what better person/animal to take care of the rat problem than her? She's got to put those beastkin instincts to use sometime. Tao can be found zipping all over the village, taking off at full speed, running or on all fours, and chasing down rats in particular. Though if bats fly by your head, she'll go for them too. Spiders are fair game as well.

Point is, she's up and about trying to catch/hunt down these critters, and if you're in the way, better get out of it.]

Meow, meow, meow!? You get back heeeeeeeeeere!

[ She notices Taokaka and the pouting. But she doesn't really sympathize. There's more fish in the sea and all of those misused idioms. ]

Please, there's like a billion rats here. I can barely navigate around my apartment room without finding one. [ And now, she gets a Very Good Idea. ] You're free to come up there and hunt as much as you want. [ Taokaka kills a bunch of rats, Tenten doesn't have to deal with a bunch of rats and literally no one will lose in this agreement (except a bunch of rats). ]

[This seems like a good idea indeed. Tenten gets a free exterminator, and Tao gets her practice and hones her hunting skills. Nobody loses except the rats!]

[She may or may not ask for meatbuns when all is said and done, though.]

Okay! Just follow me! [ And now she'll start walking up the wall. Yep. God bless ninja powers. ]

[Well...she can try and jump...and she'll use her Sticky Kitty ability to stick to the wall and follow her! Though she may be slipping a bit.]

Need a lift? [ She turns around and holds out her hand. ] You should conserve your energy for the hunt! [ That and she doesn't want to be responsible for killing a cat while she's here in Luceti. Eep. ]

[She takes it, thankful not to have to climb up a wall like that.]

It's something I can do with chakra. I can even walk on the ceiling if you somehow find a rat there. [ She... sort of wants to adopt you Taokaka. Please, join her with her pet turtle... ]

[Unfortunately, Tao is not up for adoption even though her owner/housemate/makeshift parents aren't here anymore.]

It's an energetic property in our cells everyone has - or everyone in my world at least. But others have started to use it here. [ SHE'LL STILL MAKE A BID.... After this, Tenten hops in through the window. She turns on the light, and, what seems like hundreds of rats scurry under crevices to avoid further detection. ]

[Though that thought is cut short as they arrive in the room and...wow that is a lot of rats.]

After this whole thing is over, I'll see about how I can discover your chakra and train you to utilize it better.

And yeah. [ She frowns. ] I'm not sure if you want me to step in and kill a couple, but, as you can see, living here is quite the challenge. At the very least, I can get rid of the furniture they're hiding under.

Okay! Get ready! [ She tosses a scroll haphazardly, but it manages to cover all of the grounded furniture in the room. She then makes a couple of signs with her hands before tapping the scroll. ] Hut! [ The room in the furniture disappears with a puff of smoke. ]

Get em! Go!

[Tao doesn't have time to exclaim how cool that was, because she's got a rat extermination job to do! Unsheathing her claws from her sleeves, she zips around and swipes at the retreating rats, body twisting and contorting in shapes that probably aren't even humanly possible. Thankfully, she's taking care to do it horizontally, conscious of not damaging the floor with her claws.]
