[After the initial excitement of being dressed in her favorite (cat) person in the world's clothing, Tao decided to go to the grocery store and get some candy, because that was what people did on Halloween, right?

This is a very bad idea. No, bad is an understatement. One thing snowballed after another and...she ended up eating/cleaning out the entire store of candy, baked goods, ice cream, and whatever the hell has sugar in it. Her need for sugar will soon become so immense that it will collapse upon itself and become a vacuum.

A Kaka on a sugar high is not a pretty sight.

This means there is a rather large and fast orange blur speeding around the village right now, anywhere and everywhere. It does not care about who or what it knocks into right now because the only thing that matters is candy.]

HURK! [Jack fell forward, the candle thankfully held out in front of him and out of the way, but the rope flutters behind him the way that is utterly tantalizing to cats.]

[and she sees that rope and bats at it, only twice as fast as she normally moves. which is still pretty damn fast.]

[Jack rearranged his hood and turned to peer over his shoulder, finding something oddly familiar in the Kaka's reactions to the rope. In a slight test, Jack slowly tugged the end of the rope across the ground and watched eagerly.]
