Cat Spirit 20! [Action]

For the rest of the week, Tao is carrying about some type of Kaka kitten doll with a movable mouth. Instead of her usual toothy smile, she won't visibly have a mouth. This makes her ventriloquist job kind of easy, because her real face is obscured all the time anyway.]

Tao doesn't know what a "ven-trill-o-kwist" is, but it's still fun for meow!

[Oh, and she's in the square all week practicing her ventriloquism, with her higher pitched voice and stuffing donuts in the doll's mouth (as well as her own, of course). Later in the week, she will attempt to placate the hankering for flesh she has with those donuts. Oh dear.]

[She says while a donut is in her mouth. But not the doll's, because clearly that is where the voice is coming from.]

[Norma laughs brightly, crouching down toward the smaller of the weird looking kitties, waving toward it. Maybe it wasn't a bad kitty-thing. It seemed polite, at the least.]

Hey there! Nice to meet'cha!

Nice to meet you too, meow!

[She says while taking a bite of a donut. Manners what are manners]

[Oh, jeez...it was like meeting the Oresoren all over again. Way, way too cute. Norma laughs again, and mimics as she leans down toward the kaka plush.]

Meow! Who might you be, lil guy? And, uh...big guy, too.

The little one is Fluffy-kaka!

[Named after one of her fellow Kaka kittens back home.]

And Tao is Taokaka!

[Oh, goodness, this kitty is so cute! Friendly too, thankfully. Norma giggles, shaking the little doll's hand in greeting and saluting the bigger of the two. Taokaka and Fluffy-kaka, hm? Cuuute...]

Name's Norma! Norma Beatty. Nice to meet you both, Katz Katz! Meow~!

We're Kakas, meow. Kind of like cats, but not really!

[She does not get it.]

Kakas, huh? Well, you do kinda look like a cat. [A weird cat, but still a cat.] But I think I'm still gonna call you Katz. You don't mind a nickname, do you~?

[No. You don't. :| And even if you did, Norma wouldn't care and still call you the nickname.]

Hmmm...all right, Yellow Lady!

[Nickname exchange.]

[Yellow Lady? Norma laughs again, a bit louder than before, and straightens up. Is she really that yellow? ...Yeah, she probably is. Even her wings were the same yellow color as her clothes.]

Not bad, you're pretty good at this. And...whatever you were doing before. [She gestures down at the little dolly. It was awfully cute.] You're pretty talented, aren't you, Katz?

[She lets out a purr and sways her tail at the compliment.]

That's right! Tao can do lots of things!

Is that right? [Ohgod so cute. Can Norma just hug and pet you forever? ;w;] Well, show me what you've got!

So you wanna spar with meow?

[Whoa, wait what?]

Wha--no way! My eres are all screwy, so I wouldn't be able to put up much of a fight, and I don't wanna fight a kitty! Jeez! Just, uh...I dunno, take it out on a tree or rock or something...

[Can this cat really right? It's big enough, and those huge paws look like they could do damage if they smacked someone but...she's still a cat, right? <<]

["Eres", Tao. It's not that hard.]

My ere-- [Oh, right.] My, uh...my magic. We call there eres where I'm from. It's based off the Relares word for fingernail or claw...since out fingertips glow when we use them.

[GLOWY CLAWS WOULD BE SO COOL.]

It is if it weren't all pathetic right now! I'd show you some of my really awesome "zoom, pow, whoosh!" eres, but they'd be more of a "pheeew....plop!" kind of thing.

[Yeah. Just like that.]
